about

Fox Japan has existed as a four-piece since 2005. We're all from West Virginia, but we now live in Columbus (Charlie), Bloomington (Andrew), Fairmont WV (Sam) and Pittsburgh (Pete). Our previous records have echoed groups like the Pixies and the Talking Heads. Lately we've tried to write more straightforward power-pop songs, although you can still probably still hear traces of our slightly weirder past, particularly in the lyrics. Andrew recorded our new album in Bloomington, and Nick Brine (Teenage Fanclub, the Beta Band, the Darkness) mixed it. We hope you like it.
